Jette Edens is a Dutch artist and designer based in The Hague.
She began her studies in Fine Arts at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague in 2006. After completing her Propaedeutic year, she shifted her focus to Illustration Design and went on to graduate with Honours from the HKU University of the Arts in 2010.

After graduating, she launched her career as a freelance illustrator and fashion model, but gradually moved into the fields of interior design and architecture. In 2018, she completed a Pre-Master in Architectural Design at the Rotterdam Academy of Architecture and Urban Design.

“I’m a creator at heart, and I find it difficult to confine that to a single discipline. I’ve always loved seeing my ideas come to life in spatial form, which is why my focus shifted from 2D art and illustrations, to 3D interior and architectural design.”

Much of her architectural design work took place in the Maldives, where she combined working in idyllic surroundings with surfing perfect waves. Her design portfolio can be found at www.edens-design.com/selectwork/ .

Upon returning to The Hague, she first worked in architecture before rediscovering and developing her passion for art and illustration again.
She is currently working on illustrations for a children’s book she wrote herself.
